Textile technology leader to introduce global sports community to Acteev-powered collections from Sammy Finch, InPhorm, OOMLA and more.
HOUSTON, Nov 21, 2022 – Acteev, an award-winning, odor-fighting textile technology, will launch major brand partner collections at the leading international sports trade fair, ISPO Munich, on November 28—30, 2022. This is the first time Acteev, a U.S. company, will demonstrate its innovative capabilities to business leaders in Europe.
Major brand partner collections will include an active techwear line from Sammy Finch that provides micro-chip enabled workouts on the go; sustainable, high-performing tennis, yoga and golf athletic wear from InPhorm; puberty-positive, Gen-Z-favorite OOMLA who’s creating odor-free socks and more.
“The sports community can see and touch our luxuriously soft, long-lasting fabrics and find inspiration from our brand partner collections,” said Nikki Huffman, the business development director for the Acteev textile group. “As brands work to create sustainable, odor-free, UPF-protected products, these collections show how our antimicrobial innovations are changing the game.”
Proud recipient of an Outdoor Retailer Innovation Award, Acteev locks in the environmentally safe antimicrobial protection of zinc ions within superior nylon 6,6, creating textiles that naturally combat odor-causing bacteria and provide up to 50+ UPF protection by harnessing the power of natural zinc technology.
Acteev also can help brands meet their sustainability goals with 100% carbon-neutral yarns. Additionally, the feedstock carries an International Sustainability and Carbon Certification for the use of bio-based materials, meaning Acteev can be made with up to 40% plant-based feedstock.
Unlike chemical applications that are coated or sprayed on, Acteev does not rely on any post-production treatment or after-market process. Instead, Acteev’s active ingredient is embedded directly into the matrix of the molecule, protecting throughout the life of the product. This means Acteev Performance Textiles require less water in the manufacturing process while ensuring they remain as effective as day one.
